How-To Register Online


  • Registering for Classes Online

Note: On mobile devices students can use landscape view and, to close the textbook overlay, touch in the upper right corner.


  1. Navigate to MyCGU and click "Students" at the top of the page

  2. Click the PeopleSoft link along the right side of the Students page.

  3. Login with your email address and current password

  4. Click the link for Student Center then select the Add or Drop Classes tile

    • Now you can begin the Registration process. Any classes you are already registered for will be listed on this screen.


  5. Click the Enroll link to add classes

    • You will be directed to the add/search page.
  6. Enter the 4-digit Class# listed on the CGU Schedule for the course you wish to take, and press the enter button next to it.

  7. The next page will indicate whether the course is open to new enrollments.

    • If this course requires a permission number, may enter it now in the Permission Nbr field. You can also use this area to indicate that you wish to be placed on the Wait list by clicking on the “Wait list if class is full” option.
  8. Continue by adding another course to the shopping cart or click the NEXT button to confirm your courses and finish enrolling.
